Assistant Theater Director
- Supports one elementary production and two middle/high school productions per year.
- Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. - Middle/High Drama Rehearsals
- Friday - 1:30-3:30 p.m. - Elementary Drama Rehearsals - possible as needed. May mean skipping a two hour middle/high session to attend an elementary session. This will be based on your availability and the Theater Director's needs.
- Time Expectation:
- A minimum of 2 hours/week office hours plus an additional 6 hours a week on site rehearsal support, depending on the time of the year and the needs as agreed upon between you and the theater director (approximately 8 hours/week expected) leading up to performance and tech week. (~30 weeks = 240 hours)
- Approximately 25+ hours/week during tech week and performance weeks. (~6 weeks = 150 hours)
- Salary: $12,375.00
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in theatre, performing arts, or theatrical production.
- Experience or training in one or more of the following areas: Costume design, Set design, Stage management, Musical theatre, Acting or directing, Technical theatre.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or student performers.
